⚡ FROM A SIMPLE IDEA…

What began as a small idea shared with Pedro Segreto has blossomed into something much larger : a monthly meetup to gather creativity from any kind of different horizons !

With Stranger Connexions, we set out to create a space where people could form genuine connections beyond the traditional networking scene with a very simple idea : nobody knows who will speak or attend. Like a kind of Fight club, no one could speak about it until the magic happened ✨

Through each event, we’ve seen a community grow organically around this idea, transforming Stranger Connexions into a powerful hub for collaboration in Lisbon’s creative landscape.

🤝 BUILDING CONNEXIONS, FOSTERING CREATIVITY

Our events would never have reached this level without the support of early stage partners : obviously, supported by our R Generation & Unbox lab, the Miro Community really helped us by giving us the first resources to put things on track.

From the very beginning, Juliana Machado succeeds in convincing food & beverage partners like Tascaqui and Mill Forna to keep attendees feed !

Jean Kartabil brings magic to every break, creating a folk and authentic atmosphere all along !

With almost nothing, we’ve succeeded in gathering communities in person !

🎙️ VOICES THAT INSPIRED US

Throughout the season, we were fortunate to feature speakers who left lasting impressions. From Pedro Segreto’s insights on finding joy and purpose in our work to Victor Lopes Mascarenhas challenging us on sustainability, each voice contributed to a season filled with inspiration.

Leadership, product, AI, knowledge, loyalty, facilitation…. Many topics are handled with care with Isabel Machado, Augusto Uchoa, Martta Oliveira, Renato Carbone, Adriana Scheinder, Eduardo Magrani, Philip Bush and Diogo Almeida !

Stranger Connexions became more than just a meetup ; it became a platform for shared learning, creativity, and growth.

As we wrap up Season One of Stranger Connexions, we’re looking to 2025 with big ideas and even greater aspirations.

Thinking of those meetups is bigger than Lisbon, it might be the opportunity for any members to make the Stranger spirit leave at their doorsteps in 2025 !
