🔥 FROM ZERO TO A THOUSAND & BEYOND

What started as a spark in February exploded into a thriving global community by December. From 0 to over 1,000 (R)emotes, we’ve grown hand in hand with the Miro Community.

In less than a year, we’ve moved from simple webinars & newsletters to a buzzing ecosystem of events, workshops, and a worldwide platform of creators and collaborators.

🚀 COMMUNITY EVENTS & TOP CONTRIBUTIONS

Back when we started, a monthly webinar felt like a big deal. Fast forward to today, and we’re hosting five monthly community events, workshops, and the now-famous “Stranger Connexions” meetups in Lisbon - each one pushing the boundaries of what remote collaboration can look like. With 45 events hosted, 1,489 tickets sold, and 1,211 subscribers actively engaged, we’ve soared into the Miro TOP 3 MOST ATTENDED community events. That’s right, our remote tribe isn’t just tuning in, they’re showing up in record numbers !

But the numbers are only half the story. The real magic is in the feedback. With an average NPS of +66, participants aren’t just satisfied—they’re thrilled. They’ve told us that these sessions help them discover new tools, master facilitation techniques, and meet collaborators who share their ambition. As one community member put it, “R GENERATION events aren’t just tutorials; they’re creative jams that stretch my thinking”. This collective enthusiasm fuels our drive to explore new formats and partnerships, ensuring that each event sparks fresh ideas and meaningful exchanges.

Beyond the sessions themselves, we’re leveraging platforms like Luma to structure innovative, human-centred experiences. From interactive whiteboards to gamified brainstorming, every event is an experiment in making remote interaction richer, more human, and more impactful. The result is a community that’s not just growing in size, but evolving in depth, confidence, and global reach.

🐝 NEWSLETTER GROWTH & FIRST REVENUES

Back in April, we launched our newsletter with a leap of faith and a sprinkle of excitement. Fast forward to December, and we’ve gone from zero subscribers to over 1,100 dedicated readers—an accomplishment that leaves us both humbled and energised. Powered by Beehiiv, The (R)emote Brief is no longer just a newsletter; it’s our community’s rallying point and conversation hub.

Growth isn’t just in numbers ; it’s also in impact. We’ve earned our first subscription revenue, tested out ads and boosts, and begun forming affiliations with partners who share our vision. This monetisation journey means more than just covering costs—it’s enabling us to invest back into the community, building richer experiences and supporting the tools and platforms that help us all collaborate better. As Tyler Denk from Beehiiv noted, “It’s about helping creators grow,” and we’ve proven that growth isn’t just possible : it’s unstoppable.

💛 FUTURE-READY WITH THE CIRCLE HUB

As we step boldly into 2025, our new Circle community hub awaits — ready to host deeper discussions, member-led workshops, and mentorship programs. We’re starting January with three dedicated sessions to sharpen our roadmap for the coming year. Mentoring, specialised training, subscription plans, and new service offerings are on the horizon. Thanks to the Miro Creator Fund and the global network we’ve built, we’re stepping into a phase of strategic growth and co-creation.

The hub’s current roster boasts nearly 100 early members and a core team of about 10 creators spanning Mexico, the US, Portugal, and Indonesia. This isn’t just diversity on paper — it’s the lifeblood of our collective intelligence. Different backgrounds, perspectives, and skill sets intermix, ensuring that no idea is too wild and no challenge too complex.

With support from trailblazing creators like Nina Pozderec, Nathy Ravez, Benjamin Richy, Jan Keck, Véronique Carbonneau, Pedro Segreto, and Kusuma Sukma, we’re forging a future where the “remote” in (R)emote stands for reimagining collaboration.

Aligning cutting-edge tools, top-notch training, and a nurturing environment, we can elevate everyone’s skill set and spark innovations that ripple through the global community.
