In our most recent webinar, we launched the new season of creators in The (R)emote Generation community, featuring a diverse and talented group, including Anja Klobas, Catarina Alencar, Nyoman Kusuma Sukma, Jan Keck, Marion Zoé Puertas, Paul Snedden, Ralph Nseir, and Véronique Carbonneau.
The session kicked off with a warm introduction, where the new creators shared their upcoming topics, spanning from team dynamics to innovative learning experiences. The focus of the webinar was on enhancing team dynamics and learning experiences within the remote community.
Key exercises included
Jan Keck shared his expertise on the importance of icebreakers, introducing the concept of “melting the ice” rather than “breaking the ice.” He emphasized the need for gradual, culturally sensitive approaches to build trust and engagement within teams.
Kusuma Sukma discussed the design of engaging learning experiences, highlighting the role of gamification and simplicity in making educational content effective and enjoyable.
This session not only set the stage for future events but also reinforced the importance of continuous improvement in remote collaboration and learning. The creators encouraged participants to preregister for the upcoming events to stay connected and engaged with the community.
For those who missed the live session, the replay is now available. Don't miss the opportunity to learn from Nina's extensive experience and practical insights on enhancing psychological safety and collaboration within your teams.

🚀 THE TOOLS OF OUR SUCCESS
This past week marked a significant milestone for R GENERATION : we’ve finally subscribed to Luma Plus, the premium plan on our go-to event platform. This achievement is not just a step forward for us but a testament to the power of collaboration and the influence of key partnerships.
Here’s why I’ve decided to share this with you 🧚🏽

🔥 THE IMPACT OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

Catching up with the Miro community team in Cascais, Portugal
Thanks to the incredible support from Eleanor Hooker, Lauren Hill Booker, Mary Findley, Nicole Kurek and Natalie Nedre from the Miro Community, along with the financial backing from our collaborations, we now have the resources to host more events, invite more participants, and continue growing our community at a rapid pace.
Here’s why strategic partnerships are game-changing :
👉 They provide essential resources and financial support.
👉 They enable us to scale our events and reach a larger audience.
👉 They foster a collaborative environment that drives innovation.

🏆 A SPECIAL THANKS TO LUMA

Luma walkthrough presentation from our last Show & Tell
Back in January, when I was stuck with my event database, a quick email to Luma’s support was promptly handled within 12 hours by co-founder Victor Pontis. It reminded me of my early collaboration with Jakob Knutzen 🧈 from Butter 🧈 : yes, we were developing our community on the right platform.
Luma has been instrumental in our growth, allowing us to host engaging events and attract more subscribers to our newsletter.
Here’s how Luma has fueled our growth :
👉 By providing a user-friendly platform for hosting events.
👉 By enabling seamless integration with our marketing efforts.
👉 By fostering an environment where our community can thrive and expand.
